The Autofill version of Astell's Compact top-loading range has an integral reservoir. Once filled, this provides water for up to 15 cycles, and also acts as a collection vessel for condensate and the water that is automatically returned from the chamber at the end of each cycle. This means that the unit is totally self-contained - all you need is a standard power supply.

This 'Classic' model requires manual water-fill where the user pours the water in the top of the autoclave between cycles to the required level and then during the cycle condensate leaves the vessel via a silicone tube that can be connected to a heat-resistant bottle (available as an optional extra).
