  • Territory Sales Manager - Scotland

    To keep pace with customer demands and the growth we have seen over 2020/2021, we are recruiting a Territory Sales Manager for NE Scotland and the Highlands on a permanent basis. Overseeing a portfolio of customers across a wide range of industries, a key component of success will be close coordination and collaboration with a team of product specialists leading these product segments to generates sales within your accounts to hit sales targets.

    Job Summary

    Ideally being based in the Dundee / Aberdeen region, you will be selling laboratory consumables, chemicals and equipment.  There is an existing customer base which needs to be built upon and extended so Account Management and Business Development skills will be essential to success in this role. 

    You will be an experienced Account Manager who preferably has a strong track record of selling into Universities, Biotech, NHS and Medical Research Institutions.  

    A determined approach is required to network effectively through large, complex organisations to ensure you are in contact with all potential customers.

    This is a hybrid role where you will combine both working from home and visiting customers within your territory on a regular basis. You will immerse yourself into the world of academia, research, biotech, clinical, pharma and industrial laboratory environments. 

    Having a scientific background would be enormously helpful to ensure you can easily build credibility and trust with your customers. You will be supported by a team of experienced product and technical sales specialists, so you will need to be a strong team player who can reach out for help and support within your key accounts.

    You will need to collaborate and work effectively as a team to ensure you maximise all opportunities that present themselves. Utilizing your colleagues’ specialist product and technical skills will allow you to distinguish yourself and your products from the competition.

    This role requires a blend of account management skills and new business development. You will take responsibility for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and providing a high level of support and service to existing accounts. 

    You must also show the necessary enthusiasm to grow your territory by approaching new and prospective customers.

    Being highly organised, taking time to plan and then execute your sales strategy will ensure success in this role.

    About You

    You will be a passionate and enthusiastic Account Manager with experience in field sales. With experience of selling into large, complex public and private sector organisations, you will be an excellent communicator at all levels.

    You will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders within the business but also within various department of the customers you are working with.

    We are looking for a motivated, high performing individual with previous sales experience who will be able to apply this knowledge to the management of customer accounts with the aim of growing and retaining existing relationships and building new accounts. You will be innovative and pro-active in your approach to work with an ability to drive business and generate new sales within new and existing customers.

    As with all sales roles, you will be a confident, strong negotiator with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload, have an excellent eye for detail and take pride in your work.

    A clean UK driving licence is essential for this role as you will be regularly travelling around the region to your customers.

  • Customer Service Coordinator - Nottingham

    We have a diverse customer base - we support scientists, technicians, clinicians. Ideally but not essential if you have dealt with universities, hospitals, research centres, life science companies, clinical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, contract testing, utilities, nuclear, environmental and government laboratories bodies large, within the Scientific Market this would mirror the type of customer you would be dealing with.  

    As an integral part of a busy Customer Service Team you will be required to offer full support to customers and sales managers within an allotted region of the country.

    You will be responsible for supporting our customers with their daily enquiries, placing their orders and resolving any queries they may have to a very high standard.

    An essential part of your role is to learn and understand the requirements of your sales manager and customers through building relationships, delivering service excellence and exceeding expectations.  

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Deliver a first class customer experience
    • To be able to communicate clearly and have the ability to work closely with your Sales Manager and other internal departments in order to ensure continuity of service and assure delivery in a timely and efficient manner
    • Place orders and ensure that your customer is kept up to date at all times with the progression of their order
    • Manage and prioritise own work load
    • Take ownership to ensure tasks are completed fully
    • Achieve pre-defined KPI’s and targets Work to ISO 9001 standards

  • Key Account Coordinator

    We are recruiting for a Key Account Coordinator to join a small but highly effective team to provide support to the highest revenue generating and highest valued customers.  Working on a 1 2 1 basis with these customers, you will immerse yourself in their company so that you have a comprehensive knowledge of the company, their needs and preferences but also to be able to go above and beyond to support that customer.  

    The role is a very interesting and wide-reaching role which will give you exposure to sales, marketing, purchasing, dispatch, and quality.  You will be dealing with a wide range of people within your own company as well as within your customer’s offices and therefore being a strong communicator is essential.  You will naturally enjoy problem solving and be the type of person who Your style of communication will be professional, measured but caring.  You will genuinely want to help your customer and your desire to do a good job will be your overarching motivator.

    This is a brilliant role for an individual already in a business-to-business customer service role who is looking to take a step into key accounts.  You will have office-based experience.   

    We have a diverse customer base - we support scientists, technicians, clinicians. Ideally but not essential if you have dealt with universities, hospitals, research centres, life science companies, clinical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, contract testing, utilities, nuclear, environmental and government laboratories bodies large, within the Scientific Market this would mirror the type of customer you would be dealing with.  

    As the Key Account Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for the customer, managing day to day activities such as sales order entry, chasing of outstanding orders, resolving complaints, handling enquiries, managing delivery expectations- all within a timely manner via phone or email.  You will also be responsible for ensuring that KPI’s and SLA’s agreed with the Customer are managed and exceeded- and will work closely with other departments to ensure this.

    You will be responsible for KPI reporting on your Key Accounts so you will need to be a confident user of Excel and able to present information clearly as well as complete existing spreadsheets of complex data.  

    Although based predominately within the Nottingham office, there may be some travel to the customer site and so you will need your own driving license and access to a car so that any travel required is logistically possible.   As a company, they can offer a fantastic place to work; not only in terms of the physical office but in terms of the team and the career opportunities.  You will be working as a part of a dedicated, experienced but fun team who take great pride in their work and strive to do the best they can every day.

  • Warehouse Operative 10.45 - 19.00 shift

    Job Summary

    We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join us on a permanent basis the 10.45 - 19.00 shift.

    Working on the replenishment team, you will move boxes, pallets and trolleys full of product to the right location in the warehouse. You will be replenishing the shelves neatly, paying close attention to locations and box quantities.

    We are looking for someone who:

    Has previous warehouse experience Is reliable, hardworking and has a keen eye for detail. 

    You will enjoy working independently but as part of a larger warehouse team. 

    You will work towards completing your own personal tasks supporting others in the team if required.
