Pricing Coordinator

Position Summary:

As a key position within the Pricing Team, this role will focus on supporting fellow colleagues within the department and ensuring internal customer relationships are maintained. Strong attention to detail and IT skills are key to ensure business continuity and data accuracy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing team work flow and distribution
  • Analysis, reporting and loading of company data on to internal and external systems and marketplaces
  • Identify and resolve problems which arise within the pricing element of the business; ensuring processes are managed to reduce reoccurrence
  • Supporting the Pricing team
  • Collate and present data to various areas within the business
  • Design and develop new and existing pricing processes and strategies
  • Support other business functions to ensure they conform with company pricing rules
  • Monitoring and policing of company margin policy
  • Provide accurate and timely information to different areas of the business drawing from various sources
  • Supporting other areas of business support function

Business Manager – SLS Branded Products

Position Summary

Responsible for the sales and development of the SLS branded portfolio, your primary role will be to grow the sales of this range whilst enhancing market awareness. You will need to review the current SLS branded range of consumables and equipment and develop further in line with market trends and demands. Previous field sales experience is a necessity and the development of product ranges preferable.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Achieve Sales target set by the company
  • Manage and drive the sales and development of the SLS branded product portfolio
  • Visit customers to promote and sell the product portfolio
  • Provide product support to the Sales Force
  • Support the Field Sales Team with customer visits and demonstrations or any other required field activity 
  • Review and develop the SLS branded range and identify new product opportunities

Life Science Sales Specialist – Southern Territory

Position Summary

This role is at the forefront of driving the sales of all Life Science Products directly to customers and via the Field Sales Team in the Southern Territory. The ideal candidate would have an extensive knowledge of the Life Science sector ideally with research experience in the cell biology and/or molecular biology. Previous selling experience is preferable.     

Primary Duties         

  • Achieve Sales target set by the company
  • Visit customers to promote and sell the SLS Life Science range
  • Provide technical support to the Sales Force
  • Support the Field Sales Team with customer visits and demonstrations or any other required field activity
  • Attend joint customer visits with our key supplier Account Managers
  • Work with key suppliers and the TSM/RSM’s to create selling strategies and regional Marketing Promotions
  • Monitor personal sales against target for the Life Science product range

Attributes & Skills Required

  • Broad experience of Life Science consumables and equipment across all disciplines
  • Strong knowledge of Life Science Research and it’s applications
  • Relationship builder
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Able to prioritise work load and have a keen eye for detail

Territory Sales Manager (Team South)

Position Summary:

Selling Laboratory Consumables, Chemicals, Reagents and Equipment into a London based territory within our Southern Sales Team.  

The successful candidate will be expected to meet/exceed target expectations as a whole and also by product segments in established product areas such as  liquid handling, life sciences, capital equipment, chemicals and clinical.     

A key component of success will be close coordination and collaboration with a team of product specialists leading these product segments.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, high energy sales person to join this innovative and fast paced business. An individual with a 'can do' attitude who can hit the ground running and be a successful contributor to a rapidly growing company. You must be able to work well within a team as well as organise and motivate yourself.  

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Has a minimum of 2 years field sales experience which ideally would be within academia and research, Biotech, clinical and Pharma or industrial laboratory environments (this is preferred but not essential)
  • Has a scientific background or understanding (this would be beneficial but not essential)
  • Can take responsibility for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers
  • Can provide a high level of support and service to existing accounts Shows the necessary enthusiasm to grow territory performance by approaching new and prospective customers, be it by arranging prior appointments or by 'cold-calling’
  • Has a proven track record of success within a sales environment
  • Displays a self-motivated and driven personality
  • Has good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Has a full clean UK driving licence
