Job summary

We are looking to recruit a Territory Sales Manager, focusing on the clinical diagnostic market with an emphasis on microbiology

Ideal candidate and skills required

  • Be an experienced Biomedical Scientist, microbiologist, or scientist with a life science discipline such as molecular biology
  • Possess a strong understanding of in-vitro diagnostic products, and practical experience of working in a laboratory environment, ideally clinical
  • Have a business development approach to identifying market opportunities, and the empathy to strengthen our existing customer relationships
  • Be an excellent communicator with the ability to engage knowledgably and confidently with a range of customers from diverse disciplines
  • Be comfortable delivering assured product demonstrations and presentations
  • Be able to work well within a team as well as working as a self-starting individual 
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Preferably have a proven track record of success within a sales environment
  • Be self-motivated and customer and performance focused
  • Deliver an excellent service with efficiency and positivity
  • Full driving licence required

Job Title: Telephone Account Manager

Reporting to: TAM Team Manager

Job summary   This role is focused on growing and retaining customer accounts by establishing and maintaining strong relationships through regular account management. Other primary goals are to increase product penetration into accounts and develop new business. The applicant must be able to understand a diverse range of products ensuring that knowledge of features and pricing is up to date.

    Job Title: Contract Pricing Analyst

    Reporting to: Amy Skaith – Pricing Manager

    Job summary  

    As a key position within the Pricing Team, this role will focus on the analysis and production of contract pricing data which is sourced from a variety of areas. Strong commercial awareness and communication skills are key to ensure business development and data accuracy.

    Duties and responsibilities  

    • Read, interpret, review and analyse company pricing data for distribution to the wider business.
    • Manipulate and maintain pricing data in line with company policies and procedures.
    • Identify and resolve problems which arise within the pricing element of the business; ensuring processes are managed to reduce reoccurrence.
    • Conduct pricing analysis year-round, identifying pricing changes, margin erosion and communicating them to necessary departments.
    • Collate and present data to various areas within the business.
    • Design and develop new and existing pricing reports and strategies.
    • Build and maintain intercompany relationships; particularly with our sales department.
    • Support other business functions to ensure they conform with company pricing rules.
    • Leadership and development of short term and long-term projects; ensuring effective communication to all areas of the company.
    • Provide accurate and timely files to different areas of the business drawing from various sources.
    • Management of contract price changes through the business and external marketplace.
    • Continue to support the day to day business function.  

    Attributes and Skills required  

    • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
    • Able to prioritise work load and have a keen eye for detail
    • Computer Literate including strong working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft applications, including; Access and Excel with previous experience of using pivot tables and VLOOKUP routines.

    Customer Services Coordinator

    As an integral part of a busy Customer Service Team you will be required to offer full support to customers and sales managers within an allotted region of the country.

    You will be responsible for supporting our customers with their daily enquiries, placing their orders and resolving any queries they may have to a very high standard.

    An essential part of your role is to learn and understand the requirements of your sales manager and customers through building relationships, delivering service excellence and exceeding expectations.

    Key Account Coordinator

    To provide a first class customer experience to a designated key account customer(s) and provide support to the Key Account Team. The role will primarily be office based but will require the occasional site visit. The role will be defined by the customer’s and business requirements and we will need to adapt as the account grows and develops.

    This role would primarily suit someone looking for an opportunity within a Sales Office environment, or someone looking to move from an Account Coordinator role to a Key Account Coordinator role.   

    Distribution business within the scientific arena.

    Duties and responsibilities  

    • Deliver a first class customer experience at all times  
    • To be the primary point of contact for the customer, managing day to day activities such as sales order entry, chasing of outstanding orders, resolving complaints, handling enquiries, managing delivery expectations- all within a timely manner via phone or email
    • Proactively communicate with the customer for any delays in delivery
    • Work closely with the Territory Sales Manager to support and further develop the relationship with the customer and optimize all sales opportunities
    • Produce monthly reports as specified by the Customer or Sales Manager 
    • Ensure that KPI’s and SLA’s agreed with the Customer are managed and exceeded
    • Liaise with internal departments such as Purchasing, Warehouse, Distribution to ensure a smooth and timely delivery of service and goods from receipt of sales order, through to despatch
    • Work with Purchasing to improve lead times on products out of stock
    • Work with Sourcing to identify and locate supply of non-catalogued products
    • Where required, issue quotations to customers following guidelines issued by the Sales Manager
