Key Account Coordinator

To provide a first class customer experience a designated key account customer(s) and provide support to the Key Account Team. The role will primarily be office based but will require the occasional site visit. The role will be defined by the customer’s and business requirements and we will need to adapt as the account grows and develops.

Duties and responsibilities   

  • Deliver a first class customer experience  
  • To develop the customer relationship by providing regular updates and exceed response times and service delivery expectations where possible   
  • Offer proactive communication with regards to orders, back orders, delays etc  
  • Produce monthly reports as specified by the customer  
  • Ensure that we manage and exceed the KPI’s and SLA’s that our customer has set  
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure a smooth and timely delivery of service and goods
  • To be the main point of contact for all day to day issues

Telephone Account Manager

To retain and pro-actively grow customer accounts by establishing and maintaining strong relationships through regular account management and to maximise sales target.

Other primary goals are to increase products brought through the customer base and develop new business.

The applicant must be able to understand a diverse range of products ensuring that knowledge of features and pricing is up to date.

Duties and responsibilities 

  • Deliver a first class customer experience 
  • Account management of existing customer base 
  • Targeting and reviving former SLS customers 
  • Developing new business opportunities where possible 
  • Managing quotations 
  • Maximising revenue by cross, associated and up-selling
  • Driving new messages through customer channels including promotions available
  • Hold strong internal relationships and use this resource to further enhance the customer experience and assure delivery of goods in a timely and efficient manner process orders and ensure that your customer is kept up to date at all times including after-sales
  • Mange and prioritise own work load
  • To achieve all set KPI's and targets

Ideal candidate

  • Self-starter who can motivate themselves and others with a strong desire to work to, and surpass targets
  • Strong customer service ethics 
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Be comfortable on the phone with a clear telephone manner (this job is approx. 75% outbound calling)
  • Ability to problem solve -  identifying a client's needs and respond accordingly
  • Able to prioritise work load 
  • Be organised and methodical
  • Responsive and re-active
  • Conscientious, hardworking and will give 100% at all times

Minimum qualifications and relevant experience  

  • Previous sales/account management experience preferred    
  • Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft applications

Warehouse Operative

To contribute to all activities of Warehouse Ops team 11.00–19.00 shift.

Duties and responsibilities 

  • Picking, packing, preparing goods for despatch including loading of vehicles
  • Unloading, receipt, acceptance of goods into the warehouse including appropriate put away to stock location and routing via QC where necessary
  • Exhibit a conscientious and professional attitude towards all tasks performed including contribution to team output targets
  • Other tasks reasonably requested by the Warehouse and Distribution Manager or Team Leader

Attributes and Skills required

  • Numeracy
  • Verbal communication skills
  • Literacy
  • Organisation and planning skills
  • Initiative, self-management skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to drive a Bendy/Counter balance fork truck (advantageous)
  • Driving Licence (advantageous)

In addition, personnel must be of reasonable health to lift packages, climb stairs, move pedestrian pallet trucks etc.
