AccuGel 19:1 is a stabilized, ready-to-use solution of 30% or 40% (w/v) premixed Acrylamide:Bisacrylamide Solution. AccuGel 19:1 contains 19 grams of acrylamide per gram of bisacrylamide; AccuGel 29:1 contains 29 grams of acrylamide per gram bisacrylamide. AccuGel 19:1 ratio is intended for the denaturing electrophoresis of DNA and AccuGel 29:1 is intended for native DNA electrophoresis and SDS-PAGE of proteins.

AccuGel 19:1 and 29:1 have zero acrylic acid content, eliminating the fixed charges that cause band streaking. Additionally, oxidation products such as aldehydes have been removed by a selective adsorption process. With AccuGel 19:1 and 29:1, you can trust that your results will be consistent from one electrophoretic run to the next.

AccuGel 19:1 and 29:1 reduce exposure to neurotoxic acrylamide dust by eliminating the need for handling and weighing solid acrylamide and methylene bisacrylamide, which often leads to airborn particulate that can be readily inhaled. For your protection, it is supplied in PVC coated shatter-proof bottles.

Keep in a tightly closed container, stored in a cooled, dry, ventilated area. Protect from physical damage. Isolate from incompatible materials. Avoid contact and inhalation. Do not get in eyes, on skin, on clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Wear special protective equipment where exposures may exceed established levels. AccuGel 19:1 and 29:1 are stable for 24 months when stored tightly capped in a dark area at room temperature.
