PowerCHO™-GS is a new chemically defined, non-animal origin, protein-free CHO medium that contains HEPES and Pluronic™ F-68, but no insulin, phenol red, or L-glutamine. Designed for use in Lonza's proprietary GS Gene Expression System™, PowerCHO™-GS delivers high levels of cell proliferation, protein production, and cell viability. Characterized by its higher yielding cell lines, speed, predictable scale-up, regulatory acceptance and ease of use, the GS System™ leads to a more cost-efficient production of therapeutic proteins.
