Biochem/physiol Actions
FOXO1 (forkhead box O1) blocks the separation of cell in fetal pancreatic progenitor cells. It controls the differentiation of adipocyte. It plays a major role in the development and multiplication of β cell. It plays an important role in transferring insulin signaling downstream of protein kinase B.
