Reveal® 3-D for Gluten is Neogen®’s lateral flow gluten test that streamlines qualitative gluten testing and optimises the users’ experience. This test offers a new testing method for measuring gluten content in both food products and ingredients. This test standardises the test procedure into a simpler, easy to follow format, which facilitates your training and your process. This test also standardises the detection limit of gluten, allowing for increased consistency. Combined with our industry-leading time to result, these enhancements allow for real-time decision making and rapid turnaround of product.

The Reveal® 3-D format is a single-step lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The extract is wicked through a reagent zone, which contains antibodies specific for the target allergen conjugated to coloured particles. If allergen is present, it will be captured by the conjugated antibodies. The allergen antibody-particle complex then is wicked onto a membrane which contains a zone of antibody specific for the target allergen. This zone captures the complex allowing the particles to concentrate and form a visible line. If no target allergen is present, no line will form.
