Application
TopFluor® PE may be used as a fluorescently labeled lipid to replace the head labeled lipid (TFPE-head) to study the fusion efficiency of liposomes. It has also been used in the preparation of liposome.

Phosphoethanolamine participates in phospholipid metabolism. It has the ability to repress tumor growth both in vitro and in vivo.
General description
TopFluor has a moiety, called dipyrromethene boron difluoride. This fluorescent molecule is covalently attached to various lipid molecules. Phosphoethanolamineis a precursor to phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine.
