General description
Protein CLEC16A is a member of the CLEC16A/gop-1 family and is expressed in immune cells, including B-lymphocytes, natural killer cells, and dendritic cells. CLEC16A is not well understood; however, it is likely that it plays a role in immunity. Mutations in this protein have been associated with Insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human CLEC16A.
