Application

For use with fluorescence staining including DAPI and Propidium Iodide. Antifade prevents the permanent loss of fluorescence or fluorescent signal oxidation due to photobleaching and prolonged exposure to high intensity light sources by inhibiting the quenching of the fluorescence signals. Qualified for use with paraffin-embedded, formalin-fixed tissue sections, whole cells (interphase nuclei), and metaphase chromosomes.

Warnings and Precautions

Antifade is a potential toxin and irritant. Use extreme caution. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and mucous membranes. Wear gloves and a lab coat when handling. Follow your institution′s guidelines for hazardous waste disposal. Keep tightly capped and limit exposure to light.
