General description
Junctophilin-3 (JPH3, JP-3), also known as Trinucleotide repeat-containing gene 22 protein (TNRC22), is a single-pass type IV membrane protein belonging to the junctophilin family. Junctophilins are important components of the junctional complexes which link the plasma membrane with the endoplasmic or sarcoplasmic reticulum in excitable cells. JPH3 is specifically expressed in brain. A mutation associated with JPH3 is the cause of Huntington disease-like type 2 (HDL2), a neurodegenerative disorder.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to a sequence near the C-terminus of human JPH3.
Epitope: Near C-terminus.
