The ClearVue™ is an easy to use coverslipper that delivers speed and accuracy to complete the coverslipping workload of the busiest laboratories. Compatible with a variety of staining systems, upto 11 slide baskets can be loaded at the same time in a mix and match fashion without the need to make adjustments to the cover slipper.
- Accepts slides from Thermo Scientific Varistain® Gemini™ ES, Varistain® 24-4, Sakura DRS™ 2000, and Leica® Auto-Stainer.
- Slide position in each basket is recognised and coverslipped slides are returned and original position maintained.
- Different slide preparations are automatically recognised and ClearVue delivers the correct amount of mountant for coverslipping each
- The touch-screen panel interface includes software that monitors the type of slide preparation, size and number of slips dispensed, as well as the number of baskets waiting for use
- An integrated disc drive can download technical information and software updates
- The unit automatically identifies and delivers accurate mountant levels and can process histology and cytology samples at the same time without user interaction
- Optical recognition functionality automatically recognises the slide which is then positioned correctly
- Preloaded coverslip hoppers also help to save time, with each hopper dispensing up to 500 slips.
- Downdraft ventilation when loading and unloading slide baskets combined with a charcoal filter helps eliminate vapours before they're able to escape.
- Battery backup ensures operation completion in the event of power interruption or loss
