Dry block heaters are designed for precise heating of test tubes, microcentrifuge tubes, cuvettes, and microtiter plates. The large thermal mass of the aluminium blocks provides very accurate and stable temperature control. Each heater accepts two single-width blocks or one double-width block. With either simple analogue setting of temperature (BLO5000) or digital control allows intuitive temperature management; the power light illumines as soon as the unit is switched on, the digital display shows current temperature (SBH130D).
