Tara Hardy-Ward is our Life Science Sales Specialist for the West Midlands, covering Leicestershire, Birmingham, Wales, Oxford and the South West of England. Tara brings a wealth of experience from both academia and industry, positioning herself as a valuable resource for clients seeking to advance their research and projects.

Tara’s distinguished career includes roles such as: Laboratory Scientist at The Waltham centre for pet nutrition, Senior Laboratory Technician at Leicester University, Laboratory Manager at The Pet Blood Bank UK and Research Associate in Biological Validation at Loughborough University. Moreover, as a recipient of a teaching fellowship in Molecular and Cell Biology while at Leicester University, Tara has contributed to numerous research papers and holds a degree in Medical Biochemistry.

Currently, Tara is enhancing her expertise through extensive supplier training at SLS, further strengthening her ability to meet and exceed customer expectations. Her approach to client and supplier relations is built on a foundation of collaboration and trust, aiming to create long-lasting partnerships.

When Tara is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs. She enjoys going to the gym, has recently started running.
